Packaging:
Now before these (Generic Clipon Mini Lapel Lavalier Microphones)used to come in a good packaging and a pouch but now they come in a cheap box as you can see.
Its a simple box where you get a product name as you can see Generic Lapel microphones here and you get the price which is 599 but these Gereric Lapel Microphones are available for 300 on Amazon.Inside the box we just have these microphones and there is no instruction manual and no and there's no documentation. But that's okay as I am camper for Eco friendly packaging.

Build Quality:
The build quality of Generic E_57000455 Imported 3.5mm Clip on Mini Lapel Lavalier Microphone is average as you can expect from this price point and the length of the cable is almost 1.5 meters which is good because you can put your phone in the pocket and just use this microphone. On the top, you have an omni directional antenna and the good thing is that the cable quality is not very bad.
So you have a 3.5mm jack which is gold plated which is very nice. So, on top you have a microphone filter if you remove that you do see an antenna which is a metal mesh which is pretty nice for its' price point.

Type of Antenna and working:
Now guys Generic Imported 3.5mm Clip on Mini Lapel Microphone is an omni directional microphone. By omni directional mean to say that it is going to pick up sound from each and every direction. You can use software like audacity to eliminate the background noise which is a good thing. Now I tried to shoot a sample from my cellphone but it didn't work and the reason for the same is that I do not have a 3.5 mm jack. Yes that's right I do have a connector as you can see but for all of you who have a phone which does not have a 3.5mm jack please ask the dealer on the amazon page before you buy. Otherwise this should work with any phone with 3.5mm jack but I will still suggest to ask a question on amazon before you even buy.Also one last thing is I used my laptop for sample recordings, and this will connect where headphone jack is as you can see the connector its made to connect on cellphones and laptops where Headphone jack connects. Do not try to connect this on Mic connector.

My rating:
Now in the end I would rate this microphone 4/5 because it just exceeded my expectations as far as audio quality is concerned. I would definitely recommend it to any startup youtuber because the audio quality which this microphone can provide is on par with some microphones which comes around 1000. However, make sure that you do clip the microphone or hold it near to you as range of omni directional microphones is very less. For 300 rupees, I think this microphone is a steal and definitely deserves my thump up.
